It's time to update our prep football power poll.

1. Aztec (1-0): When you open with a 50-point victory, that's good enough to stay in the top spot.
2. Farmington (1-0): The Scorps started with a 20-18 win over Class 5A Gallup.
3. Bloomfield (0-1): Despite a Week 1 loss to defending state champ St. Mike's, the Bobcats look poised to make a run in 3A.
4. Kirtland Central (0-1): Tough start for the Broncos, losing 48-21 to Blanding (Utah), but KC played much better in the second half.
5. Piedra Vista (0-1): The Panthers are coming off a 42-doughnut setback to Montrose (Colo.).
6. Shiprock (1-0): The Chiefs got off to a strong start last week at EspaƱola Valley with a 27-6 triumph.
7: Navajo Prep (0-1): The Eagles enter Week 2 looking for win No. 1.
