District Tournament Predictions

The Arby's in Farmington ran out of turkey for the second time this month.

What an outrage. Seriously? It's a Monday and you're out of one of your main ingredients? If you make sandwiches you have no excuse to run out of meat. Plus, if it happened before, shouldn't you compensate to correct it?

And while I'm on the subject of fast food, Dairy Queen has to be the poorest designed chain. If Sonic is utopia, unlimited time to peruse the menu and no waiting in line, DQ is the seventh level of Donte's Inferno.

The menu is stuck against the side wall before the drivethru window like a piece of Big League chew.

You can't order there, though, so you'd better memorize what you want. But don't take too long: If the window's clear, traffic behind you will be anxious so they can start to jot down ordering notes on a napkin.

Food can't get prepared until you're waiting at the window. Instead of having orders lined up, the next person can't even ask for their food until yours is cooked.
