this is culled down from a lot (well over 70 at one point -- i need a photo editor!), and even though i left some out that may have had some good impact, also, i think these best represented the year's work for me.

below is a slideshow, without audio, made in a program called Soundslides, which has become pretty popular in the online newspaper world, due to it's ease of use (you can create full-on multimedia presentations with photos synced to music or audio from a story, or you can use it to make a simple photo-slideshow, like below).
it's easy to use -- just press the play button on the bottom-left and kick back, or you can have full control by using the arrow buttons on the bottom-right of the box. captions are also selectable below.
